Finding a job is like riding a roller coaster without a seatbelt. I spent months scrolling through endless boards, sending out resumes into a void. Then, the call came. My stomach did a flip-flop. The interview was a blur of sweaty palms and trying to look like I knew exactly what a "dynamic synergy" was. I think I answered the questions okay but I was so nervous. When they hired me, I felt a huge rush of excitement! But then the fear set in. Could I actually do this? On my first day, I arrived twenty minuts early. The office smelled like fresh coffee and old paper. My boss, Mr. Henderson, showed me to my desk. It was so shiny and new. I spent most of the morning trying to remember everyones names and failing miserablly. The challenge is real, but the excitement of a fresh start is better than staying stuck. I had to learn how to use the new software which was very confusing at first. Even though I made some mistakes with the filing system on day one, I know I will get better. Its a big change for me.
